I am a founding Director of NTM Consulting. I have extensive sports management, coaching and playing experience. You could say I know sport in New Zealand “inside and out”. Over the years I have developed the right mix of leadership, operational, strategic, and practical knowledge, as well as a passion for sport and New Zealand, to make me an asset to any organisation or project.

I played Cricket for New Zealand for 10 years and during this time was also the NZWCC Coaching coordinator. I was the Assistant Coaching Director for Canterbury (Mens) Cricket as well as running an extensive private coaching business. I was one of two coaches to start the modified children’s cricket programme, Canta Cricket (later became Kiwi Cricket). In 1998 I was awarded a Queens Honour for services to the community and cricket (MNZM). I was a Sport New Zealand (formerly SPARC) Board member and was a President of Coaching New Zealand.I commentated mens International cricket for 2 seasons for TVNZ. Decades in sports administration and management gives me a great platform from which to lead and/or contribute to any organisation in its ongoing pursuit of its goals.

I was Head of School of Sport at Unitec Institute of Technology for 8 years.

I was National Manager for Halberg Disability Sport Foundation from 2010 to the end of 2016.

I have extensive experience developing, implementing and maximising strategic partnerships and projects.
